Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Wednesday conferred with his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah Nasour as part of the 25th session of the Higher Committee Meetings, held here at the Jordanian cabinet premises.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mahlab offered greetings to his Jordanian counterpart on Jordan's Independence which is celebrated annually on May 25.
Talks covered means of bolstering bilateral relations in all domains, especially the economic, trade and investment ones.
The two sides also discussed exchanging expertise in the field of energy and putting into effect the agreements and protocols signed between the two countries during the previous session of the joint committee meetings.
Mahlab is accompanied by a high profile delegation including Minister of Electricity Mohammad Shaker, Minister of Petroleum Sherif Ismail, Minister of Transport Hani Dhahi, Minister of Industry and Trade Munir Fakhri, Minister of Manpower and Immigration Nahed Ashri, Minister of International Cooperation Nahed Al Ashri and Egyptian Ambassador in Jordan Khaled Tharwat.
