Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum yesterday accompanied the Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for an inspection tour on the streets of Dubai.
They were accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
The Egyptian president was briefed on Dubai's landmarks and the development projects being carried out within the UAE's plan to ensure sustainable development. The Egyptian president hailed the UAE's cultural boom and the level of infrastructure, which made the country a role model globally.
He also hailed the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who closely follows up on the implementation of the development projects to place the UAE as the first international destination in the investment, tourism and technology fields.
Sheikh Mohammed and el-Sisi were accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and Chairman of Coordination Office of the UAE-funded Development Projects in Egypt, Mohammed bin Nakhira Al Dhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of the Department of Protocol and Hospitality in Dubai.
