His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday received Terry McAuliffe, Governor of the US State of Virginia.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and the Governor of Virginia reviewed bilateral relations between the UAE and the United States in various fields, especially in terms of trade and investment. They also highlighted the importance of the role of businessmen in strengthening the bonds of cooperation and the exchange of experiences between the two sides.
Present during the meeting were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and the Governor of Virginia also exchanged talks about a number of issues of common interest and common aspects between Dubai and Virginia City that can help establishing a business and investment partnership between the two sides.
