The Palestinian Cabinet on Tuesday expressed hope that Palestinian movement Hamas would respond to an initiative that was floated by several Palestinian factions to end the crisis of Rafah crossing.
The initiative is aimed at opening the Rafah crossing in coordination with all parties concerned, including the Egyptians, to ease up the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
At its weekly meeting under Prime Minister Ramy Alhamdallah, the Cabinet discussed financial difficulties in the territories, highlighting the importance of collective efforts to ending inter-Palestinian divisions in the face of Israeli plots threatening the Palestinian national project.
