Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah discussed on Thursday with Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Anil Wadhwa the latest political and economic developments in Palestine, especially the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.
During the gathering in Ramallah, the Palestinian premier briefed the Indian diplomat on the daily Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, including the continuation of establishing settlements and seizing the territories and demolishing houses in the East Jerusalem.
Also, Hamdallah hailed the Indian support of Palestine at all levels, particularly the support offered to the governmental sector.
The Palestinian prime minister praised the historic relations binding the two countries, calling for boosting them in all fields.
For his part, Wadhwa pointed to his country's firm political stance towards Palestine, adding that India backs Palestine's efforts to set up state institutions.
