Palestinian PM meets UNRWA commissioner-general

Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah discussed with Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Pierre Krahenbuhl the latest developments of the Gaza reconstruction.

Hamdallah briefed Krahenbuhl on the conditions of the Palestinian refugees and the efforts exerted to improve their living conditions.

Hamdallah, meanwhile, urged donor countries to fill the shortfall in the budget of the UNRWA.

He also underlined that the efforts of the Palestinian leadership will continue to provide services to the Palestinian refugees in coordination with the UNRWA.
