Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Monday chaired a meeting with the ministers of investment and international cooperation, finance, antiquities, planning, follow-up and administrative reform on the ongoing projects carried out by the Ministry of Antiquities.
The meeting reviewed projects for the restoration and rehabilitation of a number of museums and important archaeological sites.
The ongoing development projects include the pyramids area, the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria, the Kabbash road, and Al Azhar mosque.
The meeting also tackled the project of Grand Egyptian Museum, scheduled to be partially opened in 2018.
