Pope Tawadros meets with Bibliotheca Alexandrina director

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese on Wednesday met with Director of Bibliotheca Alexandrina Ismail Serageldin. 

Cooperation between the church and the library was discussed during the meeting. 

It was also agreed upon that the library will take part in the national celebrations of the Coptic Church in 2018 on the occasion of the centenary of the establishment of Sunday Schools. 

The library will contribute to publishing a book about the history of the Egyptian national church.

The meeting was attended by Church officials and an official of the culture ministry.
