Qatar's chief of staff meets US defence secretary in Washington
Qatar's chief of staff Major General Pilot Ghanim bin Shaheen al-Ghanim

HE Chief of Staff Major-General Ghanim bin Shaheen Al-Ghanim held Saturday a meeting with US Secretary of Defense Martin Dempsey at the Pentagon.
They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them, especially at the military fields. HE Qatar's Ambassador in Washington Mohammad Jaham Al-Kuwari attended the meeting along with members of the delegation accompanying HE the Chief of Staff. HE the Chief of Staff had also visited the US Central Command headquarters in Florida and held a meeting with its senior officials.
