Qatar's emir meets Turkish president

HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani met this evening with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Republic of Turkey, at Yildiz Palace in Istanbul, on the sidelines of the celebrations of the Republic of Turkey marking the 100th anniversary of the Battle of Canakkale, titled the "peace summit", which was held at the Congress Center in Istanbul, this evening.

During the meeting, HH the Emir and the Turkish President reviewed bilateral ties between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in various fields and discussed a number of regional and international issues, particularly the latest developments in the region.
