Rashid bin Fahad participates in golden jubilee celebration of Sultan of Brunei

Dr. Rashid bin Ahmed bin Fahad, Minister of State, representing the UAE, has taken part in in golden jubilee celebration of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei.

Dr. Bin Fahad conveyed to the Sultan of Brunei, the greetings and congratulations of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

He attended an official banquet at the Palace of Noor Al Iman, expressing his pleasure to participate in the celebrations of the Sultanate, on this important national day, wishing Sultan Bolkiah good health and wellness, and further progress and prosperity to the Sultanate of Brunei.

The UAE's participation in these celebrations reflects the strong friendly relations between the two countries. These relations are of great importance, reflecting the depth of historical ties, which are based on solid foundations of mutual respect, common interests, and cultural, religious and economic foundations.

The UAE, and the Sultanate of Brunei, have strong ties in the economic, trade, investment, tourism and technological fields, as well as permanent understanding on regional and international issues of concern.
