Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud received at AlYamamah Palace here Wednesday the Speaker of US House of Representatives Paul Ryan.
Ryan was accompanied by a number of the House's members including chairman of the Armed Services Committee, Member of the House from the state of Texas William Mac Thornberry, Chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from California State Devin Nunes, Member of the House of Representatives from Ohio State Michael Turner, Member of the House of Representatives from New York State Gregory Meeks, Member of the House of Representatives from South Dakota State Kristi Noem, Member of the House of Representatives from Wisconsin State Ron Kind, Member of the House of Representatives from Texas State Will Hurd and the chief aide to House Speaker Jonathan Perks, according to the Saudi Press Agency on Wednesday.
During the meeting, they reviewed the friendship relations between the two countries and discussed a number of issues of common interest.
The get-together was attended by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed al Jubeir and US Ambassador to the Kingdom Joseph W. Westphal.
In a separate meeting, the crown prince tackled with Ryan issues of common interest within the framework of cooperation and historic relations between the two nations.
