Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal received Saturday, in Algiers, the Ugandan Minister of Foreign Affairs and current President of the sixty-ninth session of the United Nations General Assembly Sam Khamba Kutesa, said the Prime Minister’s office in a communiqué.
During the meeting, the various issues related to the United Nations’ agenda were addressed, particularly those related to the African continent, notably the funding of development goals to 2030, climate changes and the reformation of the Security Council, added the source.
Furthermore, the meeting, which took place in the presence of Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Ramtane Lamamra, “allowed the exchange of views on the dominant issues related to international news and Algeria’s action in favour of peace and regional stability,” concluded the document.
