President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received Tuesday Bishop Damian of the Coptic Orthodox Church in Germany.
During the meeting, Sisi affirmed Egypt's pride with its expats worldwide as ambassadors of the country, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
He added that Egypt will always be home to all its people without discrimination.
Sisi said that terror attack would never be able to harm the national fabric.
He added that the Egyptian state is firmly confronting terrorism.
The president also affirmed keenness on promoting the citizenship and co-existence values through actual practices.
He added that the religious institutions have a pivotal role in disseminating ideas of tolerance and openness, promoting tolerant religious values and refuting the corrupt ideas of extreism, terrorism and extremism.
Bishop Damian hailed Sisi's role in restoring security and stability in Egypt over the past years.
