Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi visited the National Center for Defense upon an invitation from Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Upon his arrival, Sisi was welcomed by the center's head Mikhail Mizintsev who reviewed him the center's tasks and functions, said the Russian Defense Ministry in a statement on Thursday.

After inspecting the center, El Sisi thanked Shoigu and invited him to visit Egypt.

Meanwhile, the Egyptian president left Moscow on Thursday wrapping up a three-day official visit where he held important discussions with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin as well as number of officials.
