Tunis - QNA

Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid met here on Monday with the President of the Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA) Kim Young-mok, who is currently visiting Tunisia.

During the meeting they discussed ways to strengthen and promote co-operation between Tunisia and South Korea, particularly in training and higher education.

A statement by the Tunisian Prime Ministry said that the two sides also discussed the "e-people" programme funded by South Korea with a donation of 5 million Tunisian dinars. This platform involves aspects of good governance and corruption reporting.

KOICA President reiterated the agency's commitment to further support co-operation between Tunisia and South Korea in different fields and its readiness to expand into new sectors to help Tunisia achieve more progress and development.
