Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi held a meeting Saturday with Morocco's Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar.
During the meeting, Mezouar denounced Wednesday's terrorist attack which killed 23 people and injured 47 others, read a statement by the Tunisian presidency.
The foreign minister handed Essebsi a written message from Mohammed VI of Morocco reiterating support to the Tunisian people and government in fighting terrorism.
President Essebsi stressed the importance of exerting more concerted efforts to address terror threats in the region.
