Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will meet on Sunday with France's Middle East envoy Pierre Vimont.
They are expected to mull efforts exerted by Paris to hold an international peace conference as part of a French initiative for settling the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Vimont has started consultations with partners and parties of the conflict on the initiative which is meant to end the current stalemate in the Middle East peace process.
Last month, Shoukry expressed Cairo's support for the French step.
