Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry left Minsk on Monday en route to Bucharest within his current European trip.
Shoukry will hand over a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to Romanian President Klaus Iohannis on Egypt's keenness to boost its bilateral relations with Romania.
He will also hold talks with his Romanian counterpart as well as the speakers of the Chamber of Deputies and Senate.
Three agreements on prompting tourism cooperation, forming a mechanism for political dialogue, and applying a mutual visa exemption for diplomatic passport holders will be signed during the visit.
The foreign minister will also deliver a speech to the chiefs of Romania's diplomatic missions during the annual meeting of diplomacy.
The speech will review Egypt's vision on various regional and international issues of mutual concern.
