President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met on Tuesday with Indian Minister of State for Parliamentary and Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi.
Naqvi invited Sisi to attend the 3rd India–Africa Forum Summit, due to be held in New Delhi later this year, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
Sisi praised deeply-rooted relations between the two countries.
He called for developing ties with India in all fields after it achieved economic and political progress in a few years.
Speaking about terrorism, Sisi said Egypt seeks to benefit from India's expertise in this regard.
Naqvi, meanwhile, hailed the security and economic situation in Egypt, expressing his country's condemnation of the terrorist acts that occurred in Egypt in the past period.
He added that more Indian officials will visit Egypt in the coming period to discuss with Egyptian officials ways of developing bilateral relations.
