Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Tuesday arrived in Kigali, the second leg of an African tour that includes Tanzania, Gabon and Chad.
The Egyptian leader was welcomed by his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame. The national anthems of both nations were played and guards of honor lined up to salute President Sisi.
The president was also welcomed by senior Rwandan officials, the Egyptian ambassador and members of the Egyptian Embassy.
Sisi and Kagame are scheduled to hold a session of talks covering ways to enhance bilateral relations in all fields and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
