The 35th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) round will start Tuesday to discuss a number of issues and files related to inter-Gulf and Gulf-Arab relations in light of the current regional and international developments.
The summit is held under Qatar amidst a positive atmosphere of Gulf-Gulf ties.
The latest developments in the region will figure high during the summit, especially the threat of Daesh on the region and the security of the region in general and the Gulf states in particular.
Also, the economic file will be among the issues to be discussed during the event in light of the noticeable decrease in the petroleum prices.
Among the economic issues to be discussed is the Gulf economic cooperation file and the Gulf joint market.
This is the fifth GCC summit in Doha.
