Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour will pay an official visit to the Russian capital Moscow on September 9th, following an invitation from his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov.

The Sudanese foreign minister will head to Russia following Sudanese President Omar Bashir's visit to China where Ghandour would be a member of the Sudanese delegation of ministers and officials, a Sudanese diplomatic source said on Sunday.

The Sudanese delegation's visit to China will start on Monday, according to the source.

In Moscow, Ghandour will hold bilateral talks on joint cooperation and ways to boost development of strategic relations between Khartoum and Moscow, the source added.
