Anna Kendrick stars in a new trailer for Pitch Perfect 2.
The 29-year-old actress reprises Beca Mitchell, with Rebel Wilson as "Fat Amy," Brittany Snow as Chloe Beale, Ester Dean as Cynthia Rose Adams, Hana Mae Lee as Lilly Okanakamura and Aubrey Camp as Aubrey Posen of the Barden Bellas.
The preview sees Beca and the Bellas attempt to win an international a cappella competition. Skylar Astin, Adam DeVine and Ben Platt will also return, with real-life a cappella group Pentatonix as a rival team led by Birgitte Hjort Sorensen.
Pitch Perfect is based on characters created by Kay Cannon in Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory, and earned $113 million on a $17 million budget. Elizabeth Banks will produce and take over for Jason Moore as director on the new movie, with Cannon as writer.
Kendrick last appeared as Cinderella in Disney film Into the Woods. The actress is scheduled for a number of other upcoming projects, including The Hollars with Randall Park, Get a Job with Miles Teller and Mr. Right with Sam Rockwell.
