Ben Stiller appears in 2-minute teaser for 'Zoolander 2'

Paramount Pictures released an official teaser Sunday for its upcoming Ben Stiller-Owen Wilson comedy Zoolander 2.

The 2-minute clip shows Stiller as the titular fashion model Derek Zoolander as he ponders a mystery of the universe -- "If God exists, then why did he make ugly people? " -- while throwing his signature "Blue Steel" gaze at the camera.

The teaser also features Stiller's dim-witted, celebrity character arguing with a computer-voiced narrator over the stylized versions of the title as 2oolander and Zoolander II.

Stiller is directing the sequel to 2001's Zoolander. Also returning from the original cast are Christine Taylor and Will Ferrell. Newcomers onboard for the followup include Kristen Wiig and Penelope Cruz. The movie is set for release Feb. 12, 2016.
