Beyoncé was the big winner during Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards.
In addition to receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the 32-year-old star won awards for Best Video With a Social Message and Best Cinematography for her video "Pretty Hurts" and Best Collaboration with Jay Z for "Drunk In Love."
Miley Cyrus received the most important honor of the night, taking home the Video of The Year moonman for "Wrecking Ball." The 21-year-old had a representative from My Friend's Place pick up the award for her in her effort to raise awareness of the homeless center for young people in Hollywood.
Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry took home the prizes for Best Male Video and Best Female Video respectively for their tracks "Sing" and "Dark Horse." Ariana Grande took home the moonman for Best Pop Video for "Problem" and Lorde won the Best Rock Video category for "Royals."
The X Factor USA alums Fifth Harmony won the Artist To Watch award and 5 Seconds of Summer and Drake earned the Best Lyric Video and Best Hip-Hop Video respectively. Zedd received the MTV Clubland Award for "Stay the Night" and Eminem won Best Editing for "Rap God."
Sia was the recipient of the Best Choreography award for "Chandelier" and DJ Snake won Best Direction for "Turn Down For What." Arcade Fire won Best Art Director Award for "Reflektor" and OK Go won Best Visual Effects for "The Writing's on the Wall."
