Pop idol Justin Bieber notched a historic first on the British singles charts on Friday, occupying the entire top three, the Official Charts Company said.
The Canadian star's "Love Yourself" logged a fifth week at number one, followed by "Sorry" at number two and "What Do You Mean" at three.
"It's the first time an artist has ever achieved the feat in the history of the official charts, having previously hit the incredibly rare milestone of holding spots one and two with 'Love Yourself' and 'Sorry'," the Official Charts Company said.
Fans of the 21-year-old heart-throb have been downloading individual tracks from his latest album, "Purpose".
The last artist to have three singles in the top five was Beatles legend John Lennon in 1981 with "Imagine" "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" and "(Just Like) Starting Over" following his assassination.
Meanwhile Motorhead's heavy metal classic "Ace of Spades" re-entered the charts at number 13 following the death of frontman Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister on December 28.
It reached number 15 when it was first released in 1980.
In the album charts, Adele celebrated her seventh consecutive week at number one, seeing off a challenge from Elvis Presley's "If I Can Dream".
Presley, who would have been 81 on Friday, missed out on returning to the number one slot by just 3,300 sales.
Bieber's "Purpose" is at number three.
Following his live BBC television show on New Year's Eve, Canadian rocker Bryan Adams' "The Best of Me" zoomed up 108 spots to number 20.
