Felicity Jones and Irrfan Khan have joined Tom Hanks in the cast of the big-screen adaptation of Dan Brown's bestsellelling novel Inferno, director Ron Howard announced on Facebook Tuesday.
"I'm excited to exclusively announce the cast of #InfernoMovie! Please welcome Felicity Jones as Dr. Sienna Brooks, Sidse Babett Knudsen as Dr. Elizabeth Sinskey, Omar Sy as Christoph Bruder, Irrfan Khan as Harry Sims "The Provost," and of course, Tom Hanks returning as Robert Langdon," Howard wrote in his post.
Hanks previously played Langdon, renowned symbologist and author, in Howard's mystery adventures The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, which were also based on Brown's novels. Inferno is slated for release in 2016.
