Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoghbi revealed that she is in the process of recording a remix of one of the songs for the late Algerian legendary singer Warda. Nawal stated that the song is a way of honoring the late singer, who had impacted the Arab world through her music. Nawal said, “Warda, May her soul rests in peace, was my idol I the entertainment world. I grew up listening to her music and because of her I decided to enter the music world. The first songs I memorized were by Warda at age 7.” Nawal added, “for this reason I can say I was raised by her voice and music and I consider her to be the ‘Diva’ of singing.” Nawal stated that Warda never bad mouthed anyone in the entertainment world and always talked about others in a good way. The singer revealed that Warda had once told her that she admired her and thought she was a beautiful woman and considered her like a daughter, a fact that Nawal is very proud of. Nawal said that despite the fact that Warda was one of the most famous singers in the Arab world and known throughout the world, she was a very down to earth person and always acted natural and her death is a true loss.
