Paramount Pictures has released a red band (i.e. R-rated) trailer for their upcoming horror comedy Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse.
From Christopher Landon, the director of Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, comes a zombie tale focusing around three boy scouts who happen to stumble upon a zombie outbreak taking place in their hometown. Together along with a shotgun-wielding cocktail waitress, they utilize what they learned in the boy scouts to survive the night.
"Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one [expletive] cocktail waitress to become the world's most unlikely team of heroes," the film's official synopsis reads. 'When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they'll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead."
The trailer promises plenty of action, laughs and blood soaking zombie-killing violence. The film stars Tye Sheridan along with Patrick Schwarzennegger, Halston Sage and Cloris Leachman.
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse will be released on demand before hitting theaters just in time for Halloween on Oct. 30.
