Egyptian actor Mohamed Ramadan has begun filming his new movie “Abdo Mota” after the success of movie “El Almany” (The German). He started shoot the first scenes on the first day of Ramadan, and it was an action scene in informal settlements. It should be noted that Mohamed shot a very difficult scene in which he jumped on the Nile river from the Abas Bridge in Giza, without using a stuntman. Four cameras were used to shoot the scene by cinematographer Tamer Joseph. Mohamed said: “Abdo Mota is considered an important step that will add to my artistic path, after the success in ‘El Almany’ movie”. In ‘Abdo Mota’ Mohamed plays the role of an ambitious drug dealer. The film will be produced by Ahmed el-Sobky, in his third collaboration with Mohamed Ramadan, after “Hasal Kheir” (It’s Ok) and “Sa’a Wa Nesf” (An Hour and Half), which will be released soon. Ahmed el-Sobky has a huge budget for his action movies, while Mohamed has promised his fans a delicious surprise ib 'Abdo Mota'. The movie is written by Mohamed Samir Mabrouk and directed by Mohamed Hamdy, starring actress Wafaa Amer, Ayten Amer, Basim Samra and Horia Farghaly. Mohamed is waiting for his movie “Hya Wahda” (It’s Only One) to be screened, which has been delayed because of production problems. They will stop filming “Abdo Mota” for some days during Ramadan and will continue after that.
