Bartlett is hopeful that his book will open readers’ minds to the possibility that history has covered the tracks of massive events in the past. GIG HARBOR, Wash. (PRWEB) May 08, 2014 In 1943, a large plane was shot down off the English Channel. It was believed only two people knew about the aircraft, Air Marshall Hugh Dowding and Winston Churchill. However, pilot Malcolm Claussen and engineer Matt Jacobson knew of its origins as well. Sworn to secrecy, Matt was unable to shed any light on the mysterious plane, nor was Claussen, exiled by order of the RAF. Albert Bartlett tells the intriguing story of the mysterious plane in his new work of historical fiction, “MacCaulley's Monster” (published by AuthorHouse). In 1955, a piece of the plane’s propeller is found embedded on a hunting reserve of an estate. Years later, Matt’s son Bruce is resolved to uncover the story behind the unusual propeller. Bruce will need to use his wits to evade the authority as he hunts for the truth surrounding its existence – a hunt that takes him across England and America. Bartlett is hopeful that his book will open readers’ minds to the possibility that history has covered the tracks of massive events in the past. Source: PRWEB
