Cairo airport authorities on Saturday arrested two passengers from Conakry, Guinea, after trying to enter the country with fake passports on board a plane coming from Accra.
A security source at the airport said when the two passengers were finalizing their arrival measures, the passport officers suspected that their passports are fake.
After the mechanical scanning of the passports, the officers confirmed that they were both fake and the passengers were ordered to be deported home.
Meanwhile, the airport authorities nabbed an Egyptian passengers for attempting to smuggle drug pills before leaving for Taef in Saudi Arabia.
Prosecution was notified to launch a probe.
