Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) will be awarded five prestigious "Stevie" trophies at the 8th International Business Awards (IBA) this year. The International Business Awards is the only global, all-encompassing business awards programme honouring great performances in business. Named the Stevie for the Greek word "crowned," the awards will be presented at a gala event on October 11 at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi. ADAC won awards for the Best Home Page of a website, Best Overall Web Design, and Best Corporate Event for Formula 1TM 2010, and further acclaimed two honorary recognitions for Best Online Press Room, and Best Support Department of the Year. Khalifa Al Mazroui, Chairman of ADAC, commented: "It is always a joy to have the dedication, perseverance and hard work of all ADAC members recognised and rewarded by peers in the business community. Every employee at the company is committed to excellence and top quality service to meet the changing requirements of businesses and travellers, so as ADAC airports grow and develop, we look forward to more awards in years to come." Michael Gallagher, president of the Stevie Awards, presenter of the IBAs, said: "We congratulate all of the honourees, and we look forward to recognising them for their achievements at our gala event in Abu Dhabi on October 11. Entries to The International Business Awards grew by more than 80 per cent this year, and that illustrates the increasing importance of the IBAs worldwide". Recipients of International Stevie Award trophies were selected from more than 3,000 entries received from organisations and individuals in more than 40 nations.
