Air Cairo launched regular flights between Egypt's Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh and Danish capital Copenhagen.
Sharm el Sheikh airport is scheduled to receive the first flight from Copenhagen with 153 tourists on board, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said in a statement on Monday.
The company plans to increase its fleet to 10 planes by the end of 2017.
Air Cairo is a low fare airline based in Cairo, Egypt. The airline is the low fare subsidiary of EgyptAir.
The company operates flights to 16 cities in 10 European states in addition to eight cities in five Arab states.
Last week, Air Cairo launched its first flight from Armenia to Egypt's Red Sea resorts of Hurghada and Sharm el Sheikh.
