An AirAsia flight in the Philippines on Tuesday overshot a runway while landing in bad weather, but none of the 159 passengers and crew was injured, dpa quoted airport officials as saying.
The Airbus A320 was buffeted by strong winds as it landed at the airport in Kalibo town in Aklan province, 360 kilometres south of Manila.
The flight had been delayed for two hours in Manila as it waited for better weather in Kalibo, which was being affected by tropical storm Jangmi.
Passengers and crew evacuated the plane using emergency slides.
Operations at the Kalibo airport, a busy jump-off point to the Philippines' top beach destination, Boracay Island, were suspended to allow for the plane's removal.
