Caribbean Airlines is launching flights from Piarco, Trinidad to Gatwick, London, with four weekly non-stop flights on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, starting 14 June 2012. Tickets for the service, which be operated by a 767 – 300 ER aircraft, will go on sale from today. Flights depart Trinidad at 7:10 p.m. local time and out of London on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 11:50 a.m. London local time. This will be followed shortly by thrice weekly services via Bridgetown, Barbados and onward to London thus facilitating a daily service out of Trinidad. The Barbados flight will be launched in the summer of 2012. Both services will be operated by a 767 – 300 ER aircraft with a two class configuration of Business and Economy. Arrival into Gatwick Airport offers the fastest gateway into the heart of London with excellent access to all major London train stations and all major UK cities. When travelling out of London, Caribbean Airlines offers an extensive route network and this will further facilitate onward connections to Georgetown, Guyana and Paramaribo, Suriname. The airline also offers wide coverage of North America via New York, Miami, Toronto, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, and has been twice voted the ‘Caribbean’s Leading Airline’ by International Travel Agents at the World Travel Awards.
