The Civil Aviation Authority stressed commitment to bar Qatari airplanes from landing at any of the Egyptian airports or flying over Egypt's airspace.
In a statement on Tuesday, the authority voiced commitment to the Chicago Convention and other civil aviation agreements.
The authority stressed that it will take any needed measures to protect Egypt's airspace against different threats and hazards.
On Monday, June 5, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt have broken diplomatic ties with Qatar and cut off air, sea and land access to the country over Doha’s support for terrorist groups.
