Knotika Holding has announced that the Bahrain Boat Show International 2011 has been rescheduled and will take place at Amwaj Marina from November 23rd to 26th in partnership with the Economic Development Board (EDB). The event will showcase everything from the latest luxury mega-yachts to marine technologies from leading manufacturers across the world, in addition to a comprehensive range of leisurely aquatic activities such as sailing, scuba diving, and fishing, among others. EDB Chief Executive, Sheikh Mohammed, welcomed the news of the rescheduled show. He said: “The two previous international boat shows have been a great success and have been extremely popular in Bahrain and with visitors. We look forward to welcoming people to Bahrain for this event, which plays an important role in developing the boating industry in the Kingdom, and building awareness and understanding of what the seas around Bahrain have to offer for the international sailing community.” In its third year, the Bahrain Boat Show International is considered one of the main boating events of the region. Wael Juju, Managing Director, Knotika Holding, said: “As an island, Bahrain has enormous potential to develop its boating industry and trade shows are an important element in delivering this objective.” “Despite popular perceptions to the contrary, boating can be an affordable activity that everyone can enjoy. The Bahrain International Boat Show is an annual event that will take place at the Kingdom’s Amwaj Islands. The show is organized by Knotika Holding in partnership with Bahrain’s Economic Development Board (EDB). In its third edition this year” the show has grown into one of the main boating events in the MENA region with an impressive line-up of exhibitors that cover mega yachts, water sports, diving, fishing, marinas, clothing, charter, engines, sea school, boat yard and sailing, and all of which will offer great deals on a wide variety of boats and leisure marine related products.
