A British Airways flight from Las Vegas to London Heathrow made an emergency landing in Canada's Montreal out of reports of a "suspect device" on board, the Sky news reported on Wednesday.
According to the Montreal Gazette, the BA274 flight was carrying 312 passengers and 17 crew members.
The plane was evacuated after landing safely, and it was then searched by local police.
British Airways would not confirm the reason for the emergency stop, but reports said there was a bomb threat.
The company said that the decision to divert the aircraft was made as a "precaution".
The passengers are now expected to stay in Montreal overnight. British Airways said it will provide hotel rooms for the passengers and rebook them as soon as as possible.
British Airways said in a statement: "Our flight from Las Vegas to Heathrow landed safely this morning at Montreal and customers left the aircraft as normal after the captain took the decision to divert the aircraft as a precaution.
"The safety and security of our customers, crew and aircraft are our highest priorities at all times," said the company.
Reports said Canadian authorities were now investigating the threat.
