There are no restrictions on the airlines regarding the operation of domestic and international flights, Chairman of the Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) Hani el Adawi said.
In a statement on Tuesday, el Adawi said as long as the airline announces its flight timetable, then it goes in line with air safety standards and requirements issued by ECAA, and has the right to use all Egyptian airports.
He, however, noted that Cairo International Airport has certain regulations and requirements by ECAA in order to maintain the distinguished service of the airport.
All the Egyptian airports, including Cairo Airport, are open for charter flights to promote tourism, the minister stressed.
