EgyptAir, the flag carrier airlines of Egypt, cancelled a flight to the Belgian capital Brussels in the aftermath of the twin blasts that hit the country's airport on Tuesday, said an official source.
The decision was taken upon instructions issued earlier by the Belgian airport authorities to ensure the safety of passengers, the source said.
The flight was originally scheduled to take off from Cairo Airport at 10:00 am to Brussels, the source added.
The airlines' customer service department said that some of the passengers of this flight left on board other European flights while others' flight were postponed, the source said.
