Chairman and CEO of EGYPTAIR Holding Company Sherif Fathi said the company will intensify its flights starting from Monday until the end of pilgrimage season.
In statements on Sunday, he added that the company will use big planes that can carry more than 300 passengers to transport pilgrimages from Jeddah and Madina airports as quickly as possible.
A total of 16 flights from Jeddah and Madina airports will head to Cairo, Borg el Arab and Sharm el Sheikh airports on Monday in which they will carry 4,500 Egyptian, African and foreign pilgrims.
Meanwhile, Chairman of EgyptAir Airlines Hisham ElNahas said a number of flights affiliated to Social Solidarity Ministry are expected to flock from Jeddah airport on Tuesday, adding that another two flights coming from Madina airport are planned to arrive on Tuesday at Cairo and Borg el Arab airports.
