A delegation of the European Union (EU) Commission began its tour Monday in the Cargo Village in Cairo International Airport so as to inspect the measures taken to secure and examine parcels and goods.
The Head of the Security Department in EgyptAir Company Tarek Zaki said that the delegation groups a Dutch, Belgian and German experts, adding that the tour will last till Thursday.
The delegation will also examine the cargo's files and revise the steps taken to secure the parcels since their delivery to the village till it is placed on the plane.
It held expanded meeting with the Egyptian bodies concerned where they agreed about the details pertaining to the inspection tour.
