Flight operation, which was suspended after a bomb hoax at Benazir Bhutto Airport in Islamabad on Tuesday morning, has resumed following clearance by security agencies, according to Pakistan Today.
According to a spokesperson of Civil Aviation Authority, five flights faced delays due to the bomb hoax.
Earlier, flight operations were suspended at the Benazir International Airport Islamabad after a bomb scare in two international airlines.
Emergency was declared at the airport. Security officials have diverted 10 international flights to airports in Lahore and Peshawar.
Police reached the airport and all flights are being checked. Two flights have been given a security clearance and allowed to take off.
Passengers stranded at the airport faced difficulties.
