Germany has issued no travel warnings for Egypt, the tourism minister here assured Monday.
The Tourism Ministry has been receiving positive signs from Berlin, Yehia Rashed said in statements to MENA.
No reservations have been cancelled, Rashed said, adding that a promotion campaign in Germany is going according to plan.
The minister's remarks came after two Germans were killed in a knife attack in the Red Sea resort city of Hurghada on Friday.
He touched upon workshops that will be held in four German cities in September with the aim to promote travel to Egypt.
In October, a conference will be held in Sharm el Sheikh for German travel agencies, Rashed added.
