Egyptian Ambassador to Ghana Mohamed Haider met on Thursday with Ghanaian Aviation Minister Cecilia Abena Dapaah to discuss ways of boosting bilateral relations in civil aviation field.
During the meeting, the ambassador handed over an invitation from Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Sherif Fathy over the participation in the Regional Ministerial Conference on Aviation Security in Africa and the Middle East due to be held in Sharm El Sheikh on 22-24 August.
The minister welcomed the invitation and asserted she will lead a high-profile delegation during her visit to Egypt.
The minister will meet with her Egyptian counterpart on the sidelines of the conference, the ambassador said, adding that they will discuss means of fostering mutual ties especially in training and maintenance fields.
The conference will be held in cooperation with the International Civil Aviation Organization.
