Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently held its annual service awards honoring members of the airline’s cabin crew team for their years of service, exceptional performance and perfect attendance throughout their tenure with the national carrier.
The ceremony, which was held at Gulf Air’s headquarters, was attended by members of the airline’s executive management team including Mr. Maher Salman Al Musallam, Gulf Air’s A/Chief Executive Officer, and Captain Nasser Al Salmi, Gulf Air’s Chief Operating Officer, both of whom congratulated the crew members and awarded them with appreciation certificates.
Speaking at the airline’s annual service awards ceremony, Captain Nasser Al Salmi said: "We are delighted to honor those members of our cabin crew team today who have truly embraced not only their roles as integral members of the Gulf Air family, but also the culture of our national carrier which pushes us all to strive for excellence in all that we do. I am pleased to see our cabin crew commit and dedicate themselves to their profession and to do so over the years. Their performance is a true reflection of Gulf Air’s culture and is reflected in our passengers’ increasing satisfaction with our national carrier – our mission at all times."
Gulf Air’s cabin crew are recognised globally for their distinctive onboard service which also includes both Gulf Air’s renowned Sky Nanny and Gulf Air Sky Chef services. Alongside their quality service offering Gulf Air cabin crew are heralded globally for their award-winning customer service. In 2014, two members of Gulf Air’s senior cabin crew, representing the airline’s duty free sales team, were recognised at the 2014 Inflight Sales Person of the Year Conference (ISPY).
