Kuwait hosts the 12th meeting of the regional follow up Council for the Middle East, affiliated with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), during the period from 17 to 19 of December. The General Administration of Civil Aviation said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), that the meeting will be attended by representatives of 11 countries, representing the Middle East regions. The International Organization for Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was founded in 1947, and it's one of the UN organizations, with headquarters located in Montreal, Canada. The organization aims to develop air navigation techniques, planning and work on the development of the air transport industry to ensure its security, integrity and growth.
