New Marg metro station to close Thursday over maintenance

Metro Line 3’s New Marg station will be closed from Thursday night to Friday morning to renew and maintain its power network, Cairo Metro spokesman Ahmed Abdel Hady said.
The closure will start at exactly 9 p.m., Abdel Hadi said, adding that the Metro will work at full capacity on the line during the closure period but will not stop at New Marg station.
Cairo Metro has coordinated with the Public Transport Authority to provide public buses during the closure, he said.
